Christmas Lights Surprise and How to put Lights on your Christmas Tree
Some of us have had Christmas decorations and Christmas Lights for many years. Our own Christmas lights were average; they only blinked every so often and so you would wonder if they actually worked at all. lol.
So when we decided to replace our Christmas lights, little did I know the impact it would have.
My daughter decided to get some Christmas lights while she was out gift shopping and she seemed to know exactly what to get. And surprisingly, they were super cheap.
How to add Christmas Lights to you Christmas Tree
My daughter also had a great idea about how to put the lights on the Christmas tree this year. So, rather than weave them around the tree, she took the down up down approach from bottom to top and back down again with amazing results. That’s my Christmas Lights tip for how to put them on your tree.
The Chord for the lights was long enough that the lights easily covered the tree and all I could say was “WOW”.
I took a picture of our tree with the new lights on as you can see, but it really does not do it justice.
Christmas Lights with Light Options
What I love about our new lights, is that you can press a button near the power outlet and choose how you want them to twinkle. There are 4 colors for these lights; blue, green, red and light amber. As you can see by my photo, you are seeing the green and blue on at that time.
There are a few options for how you want the lights to twinkle and what I like is that these lights are really bright too.
Because our tree is heavily decorated with Christmas ornaments, the lights bring out the colors of the ornament with the reflection on some of them. The lights outline the shape of the tree and I was amazed at how it brought an old tree to life.
I never would have guessed that Christmas lights could brighten up the whole tree the way these have and make Christmas feel a bit more special.
If you have drab lights or even if the branches of your artificial Christmas tree make it look old, then I highly recommend you look at upgrading of your lights and put a little bit of sparkle back in your Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you all. Wishing you peace, love and joy this festive season.
